What will the skydive feel like?
It is nearly impossible to accurately describe. The sensation of freefall is more like flying than falling. The parachute flight is inspiring. This portion of the skydive can be anything from an exciting roller coaster type event to a quiet and inspiring flight around the open skies. Many say their skydive has been one the the greatest things that has ever happened to them. For some their skydive is life changing.

How will it feel when the parachute opens?
It is like a rush after the rush! A tremendous decrease in speed (deceleration) at approximately 5500 feet (1 mile above the ground)

What kind of parachute will we use?
The parachutes used are specially designed, large Elliptical "ram-airs". A "ram-air" is a high-technology Elliptical parachute, as opposed to the old-style round parachutes or even first generation square parachutes.

Isn't the landing like jumping off a two-story building?
NO! If that were the case, there would be no skydiving, because everyone would have broken legs! In the early days of sport parachuting, landings were sometimes quite hard. The new "ram-air" parachutes of today allow landings that feel equivalent to hopping off a step 1-2' high.

Will I be scared?
Maybe, and maybe not. You will definitely feel a surge of excitement and anticipation before the jump...this is a normal part of the experience. During the jump itself, you'll probably feel a thrill that you've never experienced before - enjoy it!
 

Your safety is our top priority. Skydiving is a high-speed sport, and as with other adventures such as skiing, boating or racing, there are always dangerous elements that must be respected. With the state-of-the-art training and equipment now available, skydiving has become a sport anyone can try, and can be a safe adventure. At Paracentrum CZ , all of our student equipment is equipped with an AAD (Automatic Activation Device) designed to activate your parachute automatically should you fail to do so. All of our skydiving instructors have undergone rigorous training and certification, and all student parachutes are packed under a Rigger supervision. Our staff of full time aircraft mechanics constantly monitor and maintain our fleet of aircraft. We strictly adhere to all Aeroclub of Czech republic guidelines on safety.Are

 Are there any restrictions ?

For Tandem, you must weigh 110 kg or less (There is a surcharge 200 Czk above 95 kg).  You will be weighed when you get here. Remember Your safety comes first! There are no height requirements.
As with any sport, the better shape you are in the easier it will be and the more fun you will have. However, one of the best features of the Tandem program is that is has opened the sport up to the mainstream public. Almost anyone can make a tandem skydive. We've taken people with many different disabilities, even those who are missing limbs. We have some of the most experienced Tandem Masters in the field. If you have a special requirement, call us!
